وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
"And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds." — Qur'an 21:107. The blessed life, moment by moment.
Muhammad ﷺ is born in Makkah, an orphan — his father Abdullah died before his birth. Halimah of the desert nurses him; the Ka'bah stands in the same city.
His mother Aminah passes away on the road back from Yathrib. Six years old, and Allah is raising him for a mission no family could have shaped.
His grandfather Abdul-Muttalib dies; his uncle Abu Talib takes him in — protection, love, and a caravan life of honest trade.
On a trade journey to Syria, the monk Bahira sees the signs of prophethood in the boy and warns his uncle: "Guard this one from harm."
The truthful merchant marries Khadijah — the first believer, his strength, his home. She proposes; he accepts; twenty-five years of love follow.
At 40, in the Cave of Hira, Jibril embraces him: "Read, in the name of your Lord who created!" He ﷺ runs home trembling: "Wrap me up!" The Qur'an has begun.
Three years of quiet teaching, then Mount Safa: the public invitation begins. The elites rage; the poor and sincere gather.
Persecution peaks; a group sails to Abyssinia, where the Christian king Negus hears Maryam's story from Ja'far and weeps: "This and what Musa brought come from one lamp."
Bani Hashim are locked into a barren valley — hunger, isolation, three brutal years. The boycott paper is eaten by worms; Allah ends it.
Khadijah and Abu Talib both die. The heart that carried everything breaks — and Allah lifts His beloved higher than ever.
After Ta'if's stones, the night journey: from the Ka'bah to Al-Aqsa, then up through the heavens to the lote tree of the utmost boundary. The five daily prayers are gifted here.
Pilgrims from Yathrib pledge to him in secret. Islam finds a city of helpers — the Ansar.
Leaving Makkah with Abu Bakr, hiding in the cave: "Do not grieve — Allah is with us." He ﷺ arrives in Madinah; Year 1 of the Hijri calendar begins.
313 face about 1,000. Angels descend; the impossible becomes the decisive. "And Allah made you victorious at Badr while you were few." (3:123)
A victory turned lesson by greed for spoils; the Prophet ﷺ is wounded but stands firm. The mountain of Uhud is told: "If you stand firm for us, we stand firm for you."
On Salman's advice, Madinah digs a trench. Confederates of 10,000 turn back in the wind. Strategy, shura, and trust in Allah.
Blocked from Umrah, he ﷺ accepts terms that seem harsh — the Qur'an calls it "a clear victory." Two years of peace double the ummah.
10,000 march in; idols fall from the Ka'bah; and to the people who tortured him: "Go — you are free." The greatest mercy recorded in history.
On the plain of Arafah: "Your blood and wealth are sacred… I have left among you that which, if you hold to it, you will never go astray: the Book of Allah." Today the religion was perfected.
In Madinah, head on Aisha's lap, the last words: "To the highest companion." He ﷺ passes at 63 — and the message remains, forever.
