Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details — your chosen name, surname, email, phone (optional) and a hashed password. Nothing else is required to join.
• Tracker data — the prayers you log, qadha ledger, sujood tracker, Qur'an khatm progress, fasts, goals and tasbih counts. This data belongs to you and exists only to show you your own progress.
• Things you post — du'as on the Du'a Wall, messages on the Community Majlis, iftaar du'as, and messages sent through the contact form.
• A session cookie — one cookie keeps you logged in. That is the only cookie the site needs.

What we never do

• We never sell your data — to anyone, for anything.
• We show no advertisements and run no advertising trackers.
• We send no spam. Your email is used only if we must answer you.
• We store no recordings. Masjid audio streams directly from the masjids' own servers.

Location, and the halal checker

Prayer times are calculated in your own browser from the town you choose — your location is never sent to us or stored. The halal ingredient checker runs entirely in your browser too; the ingredients you paste never leave your device.

Community posts

Anything you post publicly (the Du'a Wall, the Majlis, iftaar du'as) is visible to other visitors with your chosen name attached. Post only what you are happy for the ummah to read, and make no posts that are unlawful, harmful or abusive — those are removed.

Your rights

You can delete anything you posted, and you can ask us to remove your entire account and all of its data at any time through the contact page — we will do it promptly, in shaa Allah.

Children

The Kids' Corner is designed for family use under a parent's guidance. We ask that children use Deenuna with a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, this page changes with it — and the date at the top tells you when.
